International Women`s Forum

IWF Canada is one of 64 affiliated groups in 26 countries forming the International Women’s Forum, a network of nearly 5,000 women leaders of significant and diverse achievement.
Their  mission is  to further dynamic leadership, leverage global access and maximize opportunities for women to exert their influence in Canada and around the world.
There are 400 members in chapters across Canada, in Atlantic Canada, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Waterloo Region.

Women Presidents`Organization

The WPO is the premier membership organization for women presidents & CEOs (and managing directors) of privately held, multi-million dollar companies. Through global, confidential and collaborative peer-learning groups, the WPO accelerates business growth, enhances competitiveness, and promotes economic security. It is the ultimate destination for successful women entrepreneurs.
In chapters composed of approximately 20 accomplished women entrepreneurs, women presidents, from diverse industries and backgrounds, address business concerns in a roundtable format and function as an informal board of directors for their businesses.
There are currently 101 chapters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Peru and South Africa.

WeConnect Canada

WEConnect is a non-profit organization that is opening doors to new supply chains. Led by corporate members, it certifies firms that are at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by women and connects them with the growing global demand from corporations and the public sector for diverse and innovative suppliers. The organization partners with corporations, associations, governments, women entrepreneurs and their supporters, and is affiliated with a global certification network for women-owned enterprises.

In addition, WEConnect  delivers education, training, coaching and mentoring programs that are essential for Canadian women business enterprises to bid successfully on large contracts.
401 Bay Centre is certified as a WEConnect company since 2009.  Marnie Walker  is active as a mentor in the mentoring program. 


The Institute of Corporate Directors

The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) is a not-for-profit, member-based association promoting the effectiveness of Canadian directors and boards.
